We’re Yardstick, a boutique dog hotel in Nashville. Our suites-only concept aims to reimagine dog hospitality by offering more personalized care in a stress-free, elevated environment. 

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our leadership team and oversee one of our (soon-to-be) four locations in Nashville.

Responsibilities

• Manage team of ~12 employees (full and part-time), including upfront training and ongoing development.
• Scheduling and labor cost management.
• Customer relations and guest satisfaction.Dog and employee safety.
• Facility management. Including supply purchasing and maintenance of a clean/sanitary facility.
• Community outreach and events. 
• Work closely with CEO on business planning and process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Prior experience in the pet services industry preferred, but not required.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays -- we are open 365 days a year.
• Excellent customer service and people skills.
• High integrity, trustworthy and dependable.
• Ambitious and excited by the prospect of building a growing business.
